Back to civilization

Well my 30 days are up and I am forced (against my will) to head to town and mingle amongst the population. At least I can say I made it a whole month without leaving my property. It was an interesting experiment in life. In reality, I think if I went to town about 2 times a month, that would be all I need of being with people, and stores, and traffic, and all that jazz. The other 28 days of the month I think I'd be just peachy out here with the Wife, Kids, dog, and roosters. Grow a little corn, watch the sun go down, stare at the stars. Yeah ... the simple life.

Anyway, I guess it's for the best, after all, my daughter has been asking about preschool for 2 weeks straight now. And I guess a few friends and family members would like to see Me again so they don't think I'm the next 'uni-bomber' or something.

So today, Tuesday Jan. 27th, I will get up, take a shower, brush my teeth, comb my hair, get dressed, warm up the vehicle, and head to town. All the things that are stupid and unnecessary to live a happy, quiet, self reliant life. But when your the only one out of four people who chooses this path, you gotta give a little to keep the peace.

Now I gotta deal with traffic, snow blocked roads, red lights, moronic drivers, people yacking on their cell phones!!! GOD .. how do all of you stand the rat race that you've created.Personally, I'd rather sit and watch a snow pile melt 1/2" over a 8 hour period than head out and become 'one' with society. I guess I'll make the best of it and laugh at all you people going to work!!!

One last thing .... it's been awhile, do we drive on the 'right' side of the road, or the 'left'?
