Well today I enter a new phase of retirement, the part where I become personally responsible for raising my kids solo.
That's right, today the wife goes to work for the man, and She's thrilled!! (pity). After 43 days of togetherness, She is quite ready to leave the house on a regular basis! I, on the other hand, feel like I could stay out here forever with just Me and the family. According to my lovin' wife, I guess living with someone who has the extreme views that I do kinda takes it's toll on the nerves after a few weeks and a daily separation to what SHE calls normality will do Her some good. (Sigh) .. Some people just aren't meant to be farmers and live off the land, what can I say?
Getting back to my point of my new phase of retirement and my 'master plan'. She is NOT allowed to make more than $22,500 for the year. Anything higher than that puts us above poverty level, which in turn makes us have to pay taxes, which in turn goes to the government, which in turn goes to help out worthless deadbeats and CEO scumbags to bailout their corrupt, dogshit, empire. Actually She'll have to make a bit less than that since I'll need to claim 'some' income from My ventures. We should all grasp this concept of 'living on less', not only does it make us a stronger person, but if enough of us did this, the government would finally collapse and then we could start over with a new, non-corrupt, government, that might actaully know the value of a dollar!! Also, we are NOT allowed to reap the benifits of poverty, such as food stamps, assisted heating, and all that other crap that deadbeats across this great nation rape each and every one of us for all the time.
Also, my wife LOVES going to town, and I hate it!! So why in God's name have I been working all these years and She has stayed home with the kids? I'll tell you why, stupidity!!! Again, it's been engrained in our heads as the American way. Well actually it's the American way to have BOTH parents go to work .. but thankfully I never fell deep enough into that trap. Anyway, the wife will be going to work and doing all the daily stuff She loves while in town each day, and I will be doing My part back here on the farm.
Now I'm sure that we COULD live on $22,500/year, but since I promised not to take my wife and family down the 'road less traveled' that I've chosen, I need to do My part to supplement our lifestyle without getting a real job. How is this possible? Well, I have tons of ideas ...... only time will tell if any of them actually work.
Some of my plans are to:
1. Build a water containment system for free water for things like the garden and outdoor needs.
2. Slash our heating bill down to next to nothing by heating with wood for free.
3. Grow a monster garden for free food all year long through freezing, canning, and dehydrating.
4. Build a corn maze for the public to come to this fall.
5. Have a pumkin patch and vegatables for sale at the corn maze for people to purchase.
***** I have more ideas, but they REALLY start to get weird so I'll keep them to myself (for now that is) *****

So there you have it, phase 2 of the master plan is in effect. Who ever said retirement is relaxing is full of shit!
Todays RBV: Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
You see, there's no worries about if your going to Heaven or Hell, it's predestinated. In other words ... I'M SCREWED!!!!!!!!!!
