December Retirement Schedule

Ahhhhhh the things to do with NO JOB!

Actually, there are lots of things I'm going to do, but first and foremost! It's the Holiday season!!! I'm a sucker for the Holidays. I love Thanksgiving, and Christmas just rocks! I don't even care what the Holidays symbolically stand for (obviously), I just love them.

So what are my plans for the month of December? NOTHING! That's right .. nothing. I'll get my plan into action when the new year comes around, but until then, I predict the "BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!"

While everyone else is so damn busy during the season trying to fit in work, Christmas shopping, baking, going to parties, get together with friends, decorating the house and such, I'll be kicking back on the carpet, playing legos with my girls, sippin' on some hot chocolate and maybe a little Captain Morgan, while listening to Bing Crosby singing White Christmas. Oh yeah, I forgot, I'm a sucker for Christmas music too. Yeah, during the biggest suicide season of the year, I'll be snuggled up in a big blanket, watching everyone going to work to head to the rat race we call life.

Yeah, my big plans are to quit shaving, recover from a massively "out of place" back from working, and just take in the Christmas season. The kids will be home for 2 weeks from school, we'll have lots of snow to play in. Maybe I'll build the worlds biggest snowman, or a multi-room snow cave. Pull the kids around on the inner tube, help bake some holiday goodies, build a huge fort out of tables and chairs and blankets in the living room and watch Toy Story with a huge bowl of popcorn, and don't forget about all them new cool toys we've got to play with after Christmas. Yeah, these are the GOOD years where my kids still believe in Santa Claus. Setting up the camcorder in a hidden corner and watching them come out to see the 'Ol Saint Nick has come with presents. Just to see their eyes light up is pretty much worth the whole season right there. In fact, screw it, I still believe in Santa myself!

Yup, My Christmas season is pretty much booked full with a lot of so called "non important" things according to the typical lifestyle. Yeah ...... this is life ....... just the way I like it!

No RBV today, just a prayer to the Heavenly Father above.

Dear Jesus, I ask that this Christmas season, that all the overspent, materialistic, credit card maxing out families that lost their house because they bought more than they could afford spend this Christmas season with their families roaming the alleys rummaging through dumpsters to find some scraps of food to feed their starving bellies. And please let them find a nice piece of plastic with not to many holes in it so they can have a blanket to sleep with as the snow does get kinda cold at night. Oh yeah, and I want my money back on all the taxes I paid to bail these worthless scums out too. AMEN.
