Mac N Cheese Festival Success!

The Mac N Cheese Festival 2008 is in the books with great success. The total attendance for the day was about 1200 people (divided by the square root of 144 minus 90). The weather was a perfect fall day and we had a total of 7 live bands (minus seven plus one boom box). All the pyrotechnics went off without a problem and security was heightened due to 9-11. All in all the day was a lot of fun, and now that I know Mac N Cheese can be successfully cooked on an open flame AND taste damn good, I plan on at least tripling the attendance next year. Tickets will go on sale 1/1/09 if your interested (please contact Ticketmaster).

Please ignore the time stamps on the pictures, I see one of the kids was playing with the camera one day and the day and time are wrong!

10 boxes of Mac N Cheese.

Backyard deck.

A few cocktails before things get started.

The homemade "stove top".

One man was found under the influence of a hallucinogenic drug and had to be escorted off the property.

Fireworks to kick off the boiling of the noodles.

Mac N Cheese cooking on the left, butter melting on the right.

5 sticks of butter and 2 1/2 cups of milk to 10 boxes of macaroni.

Time to pig out!

And finally, I had the skydiver take a picture of the crowd just before landing.

Thank you to everyone who came to the 1st ever Mac N Cheese Fest.
You shall go down in history!

No RBV or retirement updates today, was a nice day to just forget all the everyday crap and enjoy some friends, some cocktails, and some Mac N Cheese. See ya next year everyone!!

Yup, I agree. I started small, and now I know next year to "kick it up" and start a phenomenon bigger than OPRAH!
