Sittin' on the fence

You know what I think? I think a HUGE chunk of the population holds onto religion as a "what if" rationality. As in, "Yeah, religion doesn't make a whole lotta sense, but what if it's true? I don't want to take a chance on going to hell, so I'm not going to deny that it's a bunch of folktales."

Now let me ask you something? If God is all powerful, all knowing, all seeing, and all holy ... don't you think He is capable of seeing through your little smokescreen? I mean do you really think God is that dumb to believe that you OUTSMARTED Him??? COME ON!!!! You dumb schmucks!!

The only reason your holding on to religion is because of the outcome which is the possibility of being damn to hell, which makes you still believe in it. WOW, just wow. Don't you think that THIS is EXACTLY why religion was invented??? To keep you in line, to keep you in fear!! That's the whole point behind religion, keep you acting exactly like other people want you to act while giving them a bunch of your money. Wow, what a classic con!

I actually enjoy studying this stuff just to see how stupid people really are. If you would have told me that this con game called "religion" would be going strong thousands of years later after it was invented, I would have bet A LOT of money against you, and I would be broke! I would have certainly thought that over time people would have smartened up to the fact that this whole religion thing don't make a hell-of-a-lotta sense, but unfortunately, I would have been wrong, because people are indeed STUPID!!

Then there are the dim twits who say that believing in God isn't harming anyone. Oh really, is that why more murders have been done "In the name of God" than ANY other reason in human history?? Yeah ... it don't do no harm at all. You see, your belief in fairy tales, starts others believing in fairy tales, which starts whole churches believing in fairy tales, which starts whole countries believing if fairy tales. Next thing you know .. who knows .. someone will be flying jet airliners into buildings in the name of God. Yeah, I know ... it's a crazy thought. But maybe, just maybe, one day it could happen. Maybe some day entire wars will be fought just for the sake of religion!!! Ahhh, I better quit now, I'm really getting far fetched with my ideas!

So all you fence sitters out there pick a side and stand strong. Because if there is a God, He surely is smarter than thinking your gonna trick Him with one of the oldest tricks in the book. But then, He knows EVERYTHING, so I guess He already knew you were gonna be a fence sitter. Hmmmmm ... to confusing for me. I guess I'll just stay out here on my limb and keep saying .. "ALL religions are full of shit!"
