Special Discounts !!

What the hell is with these damn special discounts ??????

"Your hotel bill comes to $54.85 ....... oh wait ... your a senior citizen ???? In that case it's only $42.50"

What in God's name does being old have to do with saving money on a hotel room. What does being old have to do with saving money on a concert, or a sporting event, or buying clothes, or getting gas ??????????????

The only thing that makes sense as far as a "senior discount" is food in a restaurant. I can see why people would want to offer a discount on food for them, I mean they don't eat hardly anything. Why not advertise a discount for them to attract more business. However, why a hotel room ?? Do seniors somehow make a room easier to clean when they go ?? I think not ! In fact, they should be charged more since there's more of a chance of them SHITTING THE BED !! While I'm at it, I think in MOST cases they should be charged MORE because they are slow, awkward, half blind, and probably having a conversation with others right in the main area where there is a lot of traffic (the the main hallway leading to a sporting event).

And how about "military discounts"?? God do I hate military discounts!! Don't get me wrong, I like them, IF you actually served in a war. If you flew B-1 bombers over Iraq, then you can save 5 cents on a gallon of gasoline. What really grinds my gears that apparently any dipshit who lives on a military base gets a discount. Can someone please tell me what mopping a floor at a Burger King on a military base in Butt Fuck, Idaho has to do with getting a discount at a store ?? "Oh, I fold clothes at the BX at the base, so I'm entitled to 20% off the rides at the fair. BULLSHIT, pay full price just like me. Folding clothes has NOTHING to with serving your country. Why should some dillhole who serves grill cheese sandwiches at the snack bar get a big discount to a concert just because the snack bar is located on the base. Are you telling me that since you living on the base, your serving your country ????? HUH ??? Your not serving your country, your SERVING grilled cheese sandwiches !!!!!!!!

I say if you get a military discount, then you actually served your country. Flying a bomber in a war, fighting in the front lines, being on a battleship, taking a bayonet in the lungs ....... THESE are the things that deserve a discount !!!!! If you did any of these things, not only would I give you a discount, I would shake your hand and whole heartedly thank you. What you did is something I could never do. To leave your family for months, years, or maybe forever, to fight for the freedoms we have, my hats go off to you. In fact your heroes, you really are.
