No Blog Today

Sorry, got to busy watching a DVD about the universe and God last night. Oh ... and I might have had a bit of Captain Morgan too which might have possibly affected my ability to type up to par.

HEY! EAT MY NUTSACK!! Why the hell do you think they call it Christmas 'Spirit' ???

Todays RBV: Leviticus 27:6 And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver.

Just in case your wondering what your kids are worth and need to sell them as slaves like they did in the Bible. OR maybe just for some extra X-mas cash!!

Typical Blog Tuesday

Welcome once again to "Typical Blog Tuesday". A segment where I make fun of most of the other blogs out there who brag about how good their life, jobs, and kids are (like anyone cares.) Then I top it off with a healthy dose of sarcasm. As always, enjoy!!

Hello friends,

I love my job, I really really do. Every morning I get up and can't wait to go to work. This week is "Motivation Week", it's kind of like Pep Rally week back in high school.

Let me show you what we've got lined up at work this week.

Monday is "Fired up for work day". - Everyone is encouraged to wear really bright colors like red and orange to make everyone excited to do their best and be on fire for it!!

Tuesday is "Potluck Tuesday" - Everyone has to bring some food for a big potluck lunch. This is also "jeans day", we put a dollar in a can and then we wear jean that day (how fun!) *wink*

Wednesday is "Boss's Day" - That day we give thanks to our managers and bosses who help us succeed each and everyday at work. We all bring a little gift as our way of saying thanks.

Thursday is "Attain your goals" day - We get to watch videos on how to help the company reach the next level of success. We will also be doing cheers to help motivate us to "kick it up a notch" at work each day.

Friday is "Decorate your cubicle" day - The company has provided us with a huge assortment of motivational signs and banners to keep our spirits up throughout the year. After work on Friday we get to pick which signs we want and get to decorate our cubicles up to fire us up! We can also bring some stuff from home, as long as it's approved by management.

Like I said, I love this job! I'm so thankful have such a great group of people to work with. Together with teamwork, motivation, and inspiration, we CAN take this company to the top!!

Today's Bible Verse:

Luke 6:31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
This is sooooo true at work too. Treat others as you want to be treated. Amen

Typical Blog Tuesday

Welcome again to another episode of "Typical Blog Tuesday", where I write a typical blog about the typical smug, American, family ... then kick it up a notch with a healthy dose of sarcasm. Enjoy!

Hello all, we took the family to the zoo today. It was so much fun. We all hopped into the SUV and shut off the cell phones and just spent some quality time together at the zoo. Hope you enjoy the pictures we took. Here is Jennilynne riding on a frog statue. (how cute!)

And here is Marybeth who actually got to feed a giraffe!
About half way through our day we decided to sit down and listen to the Inbreed Country Christian Brothers band. They were GREAT!
And here we have Seth at the petting zoo (He's just such a cutie!)
And this is a nice picture of Suzijane feeding the goats.
After we finished outside, we all went to the underground aquarium. The kids were just fascinated with all there is to see under the water.
And of course Me and my hubby. Aren't we just the perfect set of yuppies you've ever seen?

Well, there you have it, our day at the zoo. And of course I'm conceded enough to think that you actually care about "our" day because MY family is the best family there is and my kids are the cutest thing on earth.

After this, we got in our SUV and drove home and sat around thinking how we were going to pay for the next house payment, if we have enough gas in the cars to get to work, if we are keeping up with the neighbors on the "appearance" scale ... you know "yuppie" stuff like that.

Well till next week, see ya later and God Bless!

Todays Bible Verse:

Proverbs 12:10 A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

THAT IS SOOOO WEIRD!! I just opened the Bible up and read this verse ... and we just happened to be at the zoo today too!!! Wow, God does work in mysterious ways!! Amen.

Typical Blog Tuesday

Welcome, again, to another "Typical Blog Tuesday". A segment that is dedicated to making fun of other bloggers out there who think their lives are so great and they spend half their time thinking they have the best, cutest kids in the world. I say "shut the hell up", and add a zest of sarcasm to spice it up a bit. Enjoy.

Oh back to school time! I'm so excited for my little cuties to go back to the classroom. We went "back to school" shopping today and bought lots of clothes and supplies for the new year (thank you Mastercard.) I also found a neat bumper sticker that says "My child is an honor student". I know it's not true yet, but since MY kids are the best in the world, I know they will be on the honor roll.

I ran into a few other moms that I haven't seen since last year and wow, did they have some nice vehicles. It's hard to believe that they are all doing so well in life. Me and the hubby need to sit down and discuss getting something a bit more trendier if He expects me to take the kids to school everyday. I can't be seen it what I'm driving .. I mean it's a 2006 model for Heaven's sake!

Well after shopping we all went for haircuts and then I took them out to eat at the pizza joint. After that we went to Cellular planet and got each of the kids their own cell phones. They feel so grown up now, and it was only 60 bucks extra per month. Plus I can keep in touch with them whenever I want now.

I think they are all ready for their first big day! I'm just so excited to see our little ones growing up to become little adults right before our very eyes. It truly is a blessing to have a child. One day my little boy will be a doctor or lawyer, and my little girl will be president or something. I just feel that with good parenting, the Lords love and discipline, and the wisdom of the Bible, we will have a flourishing family that will be bountiful and happy. And what else can you really ask for.

Today Bible Verse:

Psalm 139:13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.

Typical Blog Tuesday

Welcome again to the 3rd installment of "Typical Blog Tuesday". A segment where I make of fun of most of the blogs out there who brag about their lives and how precious and perfect their kids are. And of course, it wouldn't be complete without a heaping helping of thick, creamy, sarcasm. ENJOY!

Ahhhh, a day off. FINALLY!! It will be so nice just to "not go to work" for a day. Lately Marisa and I have been working over 45 hours a week. It's just been so hectic for me too, since that merger with the other company. So many new changes to do, and along with all the changes, I guess 29% of the work force will be laid off. I just hope I'm not one of them. I mean I have 3 credit cards maxed out, 2 car payments, a boat loan, a RV payment, the mortgage .... I don't know how I would survive if I didn't get my next paycheck. I just hope the good Lord is watching over me when these next round of lay offs come up so I'll be skipped.

Anyway, after getting our darling children up and lounging around the house for awhile, we all got ready and went to church. Pastor Peter Pedophile has such a good sermon today on God's grace. We all are so fortunate to have God on our side, He is watching over all of us, at all times. It's just amazing how much love He can have for us. Just last week I prayed for Jesus to help us through our financial "tough times" we are having, then later that night I was watching the Jesus network and the televangelist had a message that I swear was spoken "just for me". He said that Lord's people were NOT meant to have difficulty with money, because the Lord is the overseer of everything. And He said that if we give him $1000.00 to plant a seed, the Lord would return that gift back to us 10 times over. Well of course I grabbed the Mastercard and called and gave my gift offering and I'm certain that with FAITH IN JESUS, our money problems will be a thing of the past. It may not be tomorrow, or next week, or next year, but I know the Lord will answer our prayers. Sometimes we can not see the big picture on how God works. We may think one way, but the Lord has a whole different plan for us. I may never see the return on my money like I was told, but that's OK, because the Lord works in mysterious ways. We can't even imagine how He does things, it's not even comprehensible.

Anyway, they are having a sleepover this weekend at the church for the kids, kind of a "mini retreat" to reassure our kids that we are on this earth to serve the Lord. And I just want them to know that life is so short, and it's so important to spend as much time as we can praising the Master and not clinging on to material things in life. And to love one another and pray everyday for each other. I can't wait to see my precious children grow up to be "warriors" of Christ one day. To spread the good news of the gospel to others so we can all live in peace and harmony one day. Life is such a precious gift, I think we just take it for granted way too much.

Well I better go to bed now and make sure the kids are sleeping. Tomorrow is back to work for me and the kids have to get up early again to be dumped at daycare so we all need a good nights sleep. God Bless.

Todays Bible Verse:

John 3:16 For God so love the world, that He sent His only son; that whoever believith in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Typical Blog Tuesday

Welcome to the second installment of "Typical Blog Tuesday". A segment where I make fun of most of the blogs out there who brag about their life and how good their kids are (with some bonus, thick sarcasm additions.) ENJOY !

Oh today is such a busy day for me I don't know why I sat down to type. I have to get the kids to daycare by 7:00, then be at work by 8:00 (hopefully I'll have time to stop in for my bagel and latte!) I'll be cutting work short today since I have a lot going on. At noon, I have to get the oldest one out of daycare and drop Him off at karate class (He's earning His brown belt today!). I wish I could be there to see it but I told my friend I would meet Her at the mall and help Her pick out a new outfit for a social outing She's having this weekend. I'll just have our babysitter watch Him during karate and update me later :) Then the SUV is acting up again. This time the rear A/C is acting up. Nothing I hate worse than those kids yelling because it's so hot in the car when I'm yacking on the cell phone about nothing important.

After all this, I need to get down to my cell phone provider and they are suppose to help me get some new ringtones on my phone. Everyone I know has the coolest sounds, and I'm stuck with the 52 original sounds that came with mine (how lame!!).

Then I have to pick up my clothes at the dry cleaners, stop at the carpet dealers and see if the throw rugs I custom ordered is the right color this time. The last time they said it was here I ran down there just to find out that the color was 2 shades off of what I ordered, the nerve of some people!! Don't they know how important it is to have the carpet match the drapes??? Then I have to pop into Starbucks for my afternoon happiness, I'm also meeting a friend there and were discussing our book club meeting for next Friday. Then pick up the kid at Karate, pick up the other one at daycare, stop in and get a pizza for supper, go home, and sit down to a nice supper. Then I have my yoga class tonight at 7pm.

With any luck I'll be home by 9 and ready to hit the hay for another day tomorrow. Life can be so hectic sometimes, I wonder why we do it. Well I better go for now if I want to get ANY of this done. Till next time, happy blogging :)

Todays Bible Verse:

Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

I just love this verse, I know when my day is crazy, God is there walking step by step with me.

Typical Blog Tuesday

And now for a "gay" little bit that I'm going to call "Typical Blog Tuesday."

This will consist of making fun of what normal people type in their blogs (and yes, I did kinda check one day). I think it's total gayness, people yacking on about their daily life, who cares !! Go play in traffic for God's sake. Reading a few typical blogs reminds me of what I think of most people .... they are stupid !!! So as a stress reliever, I'd like to take the opportunity to make fun of them once a week, along with some thick sarcasm, while putting a "gay" little title on it called "Typical Blog Tuesday." And NO, that is NOT a real picture of Me or my Wife (assuming that is indeed a woman). ENJOY

Oh what a day today was, got up, made myself a nice chocolate latte and sat and read the paper. Then I got my 2 precious children up and made them breakfast. Have I told you how great they are?? The youngest one just lost another tooth! (so cute. wink) I think their the cutest little people in the whole world. The oldest actually said, "Daddy, how come we just can't sleep until we want to wake up?" (sigh, how adorable. Welcome to the real world pumpkin. ) Well after getting my darling children ready, I dropped them off at some daycare so I wouldn't have to deal with them while I went about my life.

I went out to eat with my boss today. I really think that I stand a chance at climbing the old corporate ladder if I just keep kissing his butt, and working off the clock a couple hours each week. It will be worth it in the end, because I'll get that new office with a window and I'll be a real winner in life.

On the way home, I noticed that my A/C in my SUV wasn't cooling down like it should. My digital readout only showed 70 degrees. Now normally that would be OK, but since they closed down the Starbucks right by my house, now I have to drive across town to get my $5.00 drink and I don't think I can handle driving that far in 70 degree temperature, I much prefer it around 64 degrees. Now I'm going to have to take the SUV into the shop (tsk tsk, my life is SO hectic). I hate when my car breaks down !

So I picked up the kids at daycare, and the provider said the youngest one is starting to read words now. How proud we are of her, can't wait to brag it up to all my friends at work. I hope my provider keeps up the good work that I should be doing and teaches her a lot more so I can brag again about the job that I'm not doing with my kids. It's so nice to have strangers fill the void of "being a parent" everyday.

So we got home and I got the mail, seen another "final notice" from Mastercard about paying the minimum payment. It's so hard to make ends meet these days when things like the A/C on the SUV keep coming up. I mean just last week my wife had to change the color of her hair for the summer picnic at her work, that alone was $50.00. It's always something. Oh well, me and the wife decided to solve our dilemmas by taking the family out to eat for a nice $50.00 sit down meal. It really took the stress off the whole day just to sit down and have a nice glass of wine along with a good meal.

After that, we were all tired, so we went home and the kids watched a movie while the wife and I decided if we could afford to get that motorhome we've been eyeing. Did I tell you the Jones's got one down the street last week ?

Well another hectic day down, I'm so glad tomorrow is HUMP day at work. Did I mention that tomorrow is Hawaiian day at work? We get to dress in our favorite Hawaiian outfit, I found one last week at the mall for only $62.00 and charged it to Mastercard. What a steal !!

Well until next Tuesday. Goodbye. Happy blogging ;)
