AMAZING .. AWESOME .. INCREDIBLE !!

I LOVED this movie!!! I really can't find the words that would describe this movie.

I truly felt it wasn't Bill Maher narrating this documentary ... it was Me! Which isn't to say that I have anything near the ability that He does with talking and joking with people, it's just that everything Bill said is exactly the way I think.

I can't express how strongly I feel about this movie. It is the humorous look at just how stupid we are in the world today. We are getting NOWHERE!!! And why is that ??? RELIGION!!!!!!! That's right, religion is just pounding us further and further into the ground and keeping us from becoming the true people we really could be. It's soooooo damn sad!!!

A lot of reviews when it came to the theaters said that the movie was good for the first hour, and then really got slow for the last 1/2 hour. I disagree. I thought the movie was great from beginning to end, and just because the end of the movie wasn't talking about the stupidity of American's, it's just as important to see the nut jobs across the ocean as well.

I guess the most important aspect this movie has to offer is it's ability to just ask 'simple' questions with humor. I thought Bill Maher did this brilliantly. It's NOT some massively deep theology study .... it's just everyday questions we all wonder. It questions the very stupidity of the basis of religion.

My hat goes off to you Bill Maher, you did something that should have been done a long, long, time ago. Not to sound pessimistic, but I doubt it will do any good, because the only way you can appreciate this show, is to leave the religious bubble that you live in, if only for an hour and a half. I PROMISE .... you can always go back into your delusional bubble after your done!

Religulous National Holiday

In observance of the public release of Religulous, I hereby declare today a national holiday. From now on, February 17th shall be considered National Religulous Release Day (or NRRD).

No one is required to show up for work today. All stores will be closed with the exception of the stores that actually sell this movie.

In fact, what are you doing reading this blog??????? You should either be out buying this movie, OR, watching this movie!!!!!!!!!!!

You may have noticed a slight emphasis on religion in my blog this last week. There is a reason for this! RELIGULOUS COMES OUT TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FINALLY!!!!!! I've waited and waited and waited and waited for it's release, only to find out my dinky little town didn't bother showing it at the theater. Hence, I had to wait and wait and wait again. But my time has finally come!

Tomorrow morning I will be patiently waiting at the doors of my favorite store to open so I can rush in and buy my movie that I have so patiently waited for. (It's like Christmas all over again!! I'm so excited.)

For all you out there who are wondering about prices, I have done some homework for you to make it easier(see below). Although how can you put a price on a movie this 'priceless'. Then there's always the option of renting it, but why would you do that? You just gonna want to rent it again and again and again ............ so just go buy it!!
