Quantum Physics

If you ever thought you reached a point where you think you kinda know it all, that everything in life is pretty much easily explained. That perhaps you think you might have life figured out. I got two words that will change all that .. quantum physics.

Yeah .. if you ever want to pull your hair out and make your brain explode, try delving into the world of quantum physics. It's unbelievable.

I talk a whole lot about the stupidity of people, in fact, they are pretty much My career and main source of entertainment. But I'm talking about the everyday 'Joe' out there, of which is most of us! But there are people out there who really, REALLY, got their crap together! I can't even begin to think how they figure this stuff out, it's mind numbing! And even when these people know so much more than you or I .... they STILL DON'T KNOW SQUAT on the grand scale of things.

I always find it interesting to observe levels of peoples intelligence. I might look at a 20 story building and think, "Wow, the engineering that went into making this is incredible." But then I'll think about people who made the space shuttle, and then the 20 story building don't mean much anymore. And then the people who calculate how the universe is expanding and the composition of the molecules that are in deep space, and then the space shuttle don't mean much anymore. And the guys doing quantum physics who are figuring out things THAT WE HAVE NEVER EVEN SEEN WITH THE HUMAN EYE YET ....... and I'm left just totally dumbfounded. These guys can't even prove this stuff exists .. but yet every single mathematical calculation that they do to test it comes out 100% accurate every time! Did that last sentence make any sense? NO .. well welcome to quantum mechanics !!!

And to top it all off, we probably haven't even put a scratch on the tip of the iceberg yet!

In fact, if you want to watch a movie that tries to explain some of this stuff in more of an everyday terminology, I recommend watching "What the bleep do we know?" I think you need to be stone drunk, or high on drugs to be able to understand all that this movie has to offer because I had just a few cocktails and I was LOST!!! Good luck if you do watch it.

I guess there is a saying in the scientific community that sums it up. It says, "If you're not completely confused by quantum mechanics, then you do not understand quantum mechanics."
