In the news (Earthquake in Haiti)

President Rene Preval said he believes thousands of people were dead from Tuesday afternoon's magnitude-7.0 quake.

"Parliament has collapsed. The tax office has collapsed. Schools have collapsed. Hospitals have collapsed," Preval told the Miami Herald. "There are a lot of schools that have a lot of dead people in them." Leading senator Youri Latortue told The Associated Press that 500,000 could be dead, though he acknowledged that nobody really knows.

My take:

1. I doubt 500,000 people are dead .. but even if there was, that still leaves us with about 6,779,900,000 left in the world. Hardly a dent if you look at the big picture. Once we get a few hundred million all dying at once, THEN we can talk about some real headline news!

2. The United States is leading the way for relief effort. Really? REALLY?? I had this impression that we were fucking BROKE!!!!! And when's the last time you seen the Headline "Haiti rushes to the United States to help in emergency!" I don't recall ever reading such an article.

3. Haiti is about the size of Maryland, but yet they have TWICE the population of Maryland. There's 10 million people living in that little area .. one would logically conclude that if a natural disaster hit the area .. there's gonna be bad results. SOLUTION : QUIT BREEDING!!!

4. This is exactly what God said would happen in the last days just before His coming. Earthquakes, famines, floods. He needs a whole shitload of us to die a miserable death because He loves us so damn much!!! You just can't describe God's love for us in any way .... it's that damn powerful!!

5. Religious nuts out there will talk about this as a sign of the end times because there are so many deaths from natural disasters in recent years ... Hurricane Katrina, the Indonesia tsunami, the Haiti earthquake. Well ..... I hate to say it but there have always been natural disasters since the beginning of time. The REASON they seem so much more devastating is because there so many damn people on the earth!!!!!!!!!! 100 years ago, a big earthquake probably killed a 1000 people .. today that same earthquake kills 10,000 people. It's not because your magical God is getting pissed off ... it's because EVERYBODY DOES NOTHING BUT BREED ON THIS PLANET!!! If you want to make the headlines less devastating .. then keep that thing in your pants and quit populating and already overpopulated planet!!!!!!

6. Haiti is a hot spot for voo-doo and satanism and all that crap so you Christians should be rejoicing that God is punishing Satan by causing all those people in the schools and hospitals to be crushed to death. (Hey .. it's YOUR God, not mine. I don't get it either!)

7. Compassion for people is not My strong point. Amen.
