Is it any wonder why we as a society cannot gain any progress with nut cases like this constantly threatening us with utter destruction all the time??

Jesus Christ ...... We could have probably been exploring not just new planets, but new solar systems by now if we weren't constantly bombarded by absurdities and scare tactics like this crap. Yet we keep falling for it ... year after year, decade after decade, century after century.
