This topic has always drove me nuts. The morons of this country that want to enact laws to ban something that happens that will probably hardly ever happen again!!
I was reminded of this stupidity after reading the article about the chimpanzee attack the other day. Now congress is trying to pass a bill trying to stop the ownership of having primates as pets!! Good God people ....... does this happen everyday??? Is this something that tens of thousands of people die from every year??? NO!!! It's a very isolated incident!!! AND .. if people want to do something that's questionable, then let them do it! Who the hell is it going to harm?? Themselves?? What's the problem with that?? I could take a hammer and pound My head in (some people I know actually have a theory on Me about this), but that doesn't mean we should BAN HAMMERS!!!!!
What's the big deal if you want a monkey for a pet? I mean .. they ARE our closest relatives!! Of all the animals to keep as a pet .... I kinda think monkeys are a GOOD idea!! Who are we to say you can't have a monkey and say ...... 'Spank it'?? And who has the power to say you CAN'T have one?? What is this country becoming .. China?? Communist Russia?? Where the hell is this freedom I keep hearing about?? It seems like that 'Freedom Door' just keeps closing more and more all the time. Hell, next year the government will say I can't have a chicken to 'choke'!
Or how about a few years ago when we had to change every propane tank in existence to fit the new 'OPD Valve' laws?? Was this really worth it?? Replacing every single valve, or even more likely, buying all new tanks just to comply with a law of a newer, safer, valve? Is it just Me or does anyone else remember NOT reading about all those backyard BBQ explosions in the news. Holy crap those were dangerous days!! Remember them?? You'd have some friends over and light up the grill to make some burgers and BOOM!!!, next thing you know, everyone has 3rd degree burns all over their body!! It happened almost every weekend at My house alone!!
Of course the truth is I NEVER remember reading a story about dangerous propane tanks, which is to say, I seriously doubt they happened in any sort of frequency to justify switching over every damn valve in America. WOW ..... I bet somebody got rich on this scheme!!
And this stuff happens all the time, and each and every time we as Americans make laws to fix it. Did you ever think that you can make so many laws that some day ... we won't be America land of the free anymore?? You see, that's what made this country so great ... we had the freedom to do questionable stuff if we wanted to, like having a chimpanzee in the house for example. I say, if you want to take a chance having a wild animal in your house ...... SO BE IT!!!!!! I happen to be happy having a domesticated dog in my house, but if the day ever comes where it goes on a rampage and starts eating my face off, then I just might have to kill it. But guess what, that will be the end of it!!! I won't ask congress to ban dogs!!!!!!! There's risk in every damn thing we do, that's a little thing called 'life'! GET USED TO IT!! And quit pissing Me off by taking away the very freedoms that make this country so damn cool in the first place!!!! AMEN!!

This verse is saying that if you find out your new wife isn't a virgin, She should be brought to Her fathers house and stoned to death. If this is true, let's just say it's a damn good thing I'm more forgiving than God is!!
