Money Saving Tip #1

Since the income level will be shrinking real soon. I need to find ways to save money and by God I found it.

HASHBROWNS! Yes hashbrowns. They charge over 2 bucks for a 2 pound bag of these things. Crazy! It's just a few shredded potatoes for Christ sakes!

Get yourself a few potatoes, shred them up, then rinse over cold water. This gets rid of much of the starch that makes them taste rubbery. Then throw on a skillet with some butter and TA-DAH, you just saved yourself about $1.75. That wasn't so hard was it? In fact, plant a butt load of them in your garden (they keep a long time), then you can have FREE hashbrowns the year round. Oh yeah, leave the skins on. They add flavor and nutrients to your meal. Energy I will be needing when I'm out chopping lumber on those cold North Dakota days.

Now, if I just had a wood stove, I cook have cooked them on that for free too!!!! In time, in time.

So there you go. My first money saving tip to get you out of the ratrace of life and living without any income. This tip alone should help pay off that mortgage in 1 or 2 months!

Now if you'll excuse me, my hashbrowns are getting cold.
