700 BILLION dollar bailout.

I cannot believe this. We are going to bail out AIG for the tune of 700 BILLION DOLLARS!

WHY? Why are we bailing out a company that failed? WHY are we forced to pay for THEIR stupidity? WHY don't we just say "screw em"? WHY is it MY concern that somebody ELSE failed? WHY is MY job to bail out YOUR company?

I know I don't speak for everyone, but I'm pretty damn sure I can live without AIG. Especially since I've never used them, or hardly ever heard of them. Who frickin' CARES!! Let 'em fall !! I'm pretty confident that most of the world will survive without AIG. In fact, if any single company fails in the world today, I think we'd get by. There is always some other company willing to step in and take over.

Yeah, I know, we have to protect the stock markets so it don't crash. I say "UP YOURS!!" I couldn't care less about the stock market. Probably since I don't know squat about it. What I do know is that it's been UP and it's been DOWN, in fact I think it had a HUGE crash many years ago. And you know what? My life went on as usual just like always. I didn't notice any huge difference just because of "Black Monday", in fact, every Monday is black because it's back to work time.

Think about it. There are approximately 110 million families in the United States. We are going to bail these bastards out at the tune of 700 billion dollars. Now doing the math, that's $5833 per family. Did someone ask you if you wanted to pay $5833 to bail out AIG? No one came to MY door I know that. Our loving government also raised the statutory limit on the deficit from 10.6 trillion to 11.1 trillion dollars. That's trillion .. with a "T". Hmmmmm 11 trillion dollars divided by the 110 million families in the U.S. comes to (let's see, carry the one, add the seven) ... OH, ONLY $100,000.00 PER FAMILY. Hmmm, now where the hell did I put that extra 100,000 bucks I use to light my cigars?

Yup, government. One stupid ass group of people who haven't the SLIGHTEST clue on how to deal with money. Same old, same old in the U.S.A. ... No-one is allowed to suffer or have to deal with thier mistakes. The good old government will bail you out of every situation, at my expense. Your welcome.

Oh well, I guess it's my fault. For some reason I've been checking out the headline news on the internet more than usual and getting pissed off. I'll just go back to living my own life and ignoring "the end of the world" headlines and reading my bible and I'll be just peachy again. However, if you do see anyone associated with AIG, please have them spade or neutered. Thank you.
