Churches

Imagine, if you might, all the churches out there in your town. All the building materials made to make those churches. All the forests destroyed to build all those pews. All that money that it cost to create all those churches. Now imagine all the churches in your state, your country, your world.

And here's the kicker .... WHAT IF ....... it was all for nothing. Would you possibly have the biggest scam in human history ???

Just think of all them churches, and how much money they collect in your church each week because we've been brainwashed into believing in tithing. And all the money each church collects in your town, your state, your country, your world. All tax free, alot of it not accounted for. After all, it's hard to account for people throwing money in a wicker basket each week. It's so easy to skim off the top now isn't it.

Now picture a priest. His robe he wears to mass with his colored fabric strip that goes around his neck. How about the pope with his pointed hat and staff. How about the lighting of incense, or the showering of "holy" water. How about sitting in a little room and telling a stranger about your personal "sins". How about bowing, kneeling, praying, the cleansing of feet, the kissing of the cross, how about 200 people drinking out of the same wine glass !!!!! Meanwhile there's a piece of communion wafer floating in there from WHO KNOWS WHERE !!! I think there might be a slight health hazard here !!!!!!!!!

IS IT JUST ME FOLKS, or does people like David Koresh start to seem less weird. Isn't what people do in church all the time as screwed up as He was (minus a few extreme details)???? What the hell are we doing people ?? Why is it that we can act like total frickin' retards and call it normal all because were doing it in the name of God ?? Is religion itself pretty much a cult where people do unnatural things and give away their possessions from being brainwashed in some way. Isn't that what your doing every Sunday ??? Sitting, kneeling, talking to air, giving your money away, touching yourself with special water, staring at a cross, while listening to a man in a robe tell you how to live?? Is this normal ????? On second thought, don't answer that, I'm afraid to know.

When I was a kid, I got in trouble for wondering what Dungeons and Dragons was. I wasn't allowed to play a game where there were mystical people dressed in robes and carrying staffs and claiming to have "magic powers". What were they afraid of, I'd see the link between THAT and what happens in church every week. Are we really that stupid to think the pope is any better than us ?? That the man who we told our sins to in the confessional didn't have sins himself. That He was a "special" person who would actually have powers from God to erase the sins I told Him. What a load of crap, He's a human being !!! I know damn well my priest walked around and secretly said to Himself, "Oh look, the druggie is in church", or "Hey, it's Mr. confused about his sexuality." Not talking about myself of course. I always told Him I didn't listen to my parents and He bought it. You see ..... even at 10 years old I was on to His bullshit.

The whole damn thing is so degrading it should be illegal. And what the hell are these guys telling me to tell MY sins too. If I'm not mistaken, there's more than a few "men of the cloth" who have trouble with little boys pee pee's. But that's OK, lets just forgive them because Satan has a stronger grip on them because their trying to foil Satan's plan. Let's ask the little boys when they get older if the "rapist" forgiveness has made them feel better about their life being messed up forever.

WHAT IF ?????? Imagine that !! What if the whole damn thing was ONE BIG SCAM. Imagine every single person acting like an idiot for nothing. Imagine every single dollar spent for nothing. Imagine every single death in the name of God for nothing. Imagine every prayer spent talking to thin air. One thing I will have to agree with, this could very well be "The greatest story ever told". I can't think of anything that could outdo this story .. it is truly amazing.

One last note, now picture everything I talked about, and change the plot of the story to a different God, and repeat dozens of times. Because around the world, everyone thinks THEIR God is the ONLY God, and the rest of us are wrong. No matter how you slice it, there are ALOT OF WRONG PEOPLE in the world. Or you could go out limb like myself and say - "I think your ALL nuts !!!!!!!!!"

Now if I have NOT created enough controversy to piss God off enough to smack me on my ass and let me know just how wrong I am, then I really think I've made my point. That God, as we know it, is just like Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny. It's a nice thought and fun for the kids, but it just makes no sense in a logical, rational way of thinking. I really should watch it, I guess Jesus is coming back in our lifetime to judge us, or at least that's what every person has said since the moment He apparently left us, some apparent 2000 years ago.
